Watch The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies full movies

There are a number of sites that claim to have managed to translate the famous Hobbit trilogy into online movies. In truth, these websites are mostly run by Hollywood producers and editors with little knowledge of Middle Earth or film making and are not very good in fact.

Online, The Battle of the Five Armies is a pretty far behind to the finished film as it has already been out of cinemas for several months. It appears, however, that the most recent online release does a decent job and does the movies justice, so that it holds one hundred percent on its own, no matter which part you watch.

This online movie also has a real sense of accomplishment. Most are in black and white, while this one is mostly in full color. It gives it a lovely look, with all the characters looking similar in the cut.

Well, the problem is that most of the scenes in the movie are not very well edited. Some scenes have been stretched, edited in different ways, and some have been poorly filmed. You can see some shots that are obviously there in their original form, but then have been zoomed out or are mostly faded. But, it is still a decent movie and does not look like much of a let down for the fans of Tolkien.

The three main actors are well represented, as well. Elijah Wood is awesome as Gandalf, Martin Freeman does a fine job as Legolas, and Jon Voight makes an appearance as Thorin Oakenshield. Again, although some scenes seem to be edited wrongly, they are usually not to disastrous levels.

Since the movie does have a great script, it should be no surprise that the movie is so well done. And it is very well written as well. The themes, characters, and the situation in Middle Earth are well done and the actors portray them so well that it is hard to believe that it is not the movie that was originally being made.

Like most fans, I expected The Battle of the Five Armies to be released online as soon as possible after the last movie came out in theaters. However, I do feel that it was a disappointment to the fans of The Lord of the Rings, as it simply does not hold up to the films, nor does it live up to the books.

It is certainly not the worst film of the trilogy, but you can be sure that there are a lot of people who prefer it to the other two movies. So, if you were looking for a new movie, you might want to consider The Battle of the Five Armies. It is definitely a step up from the three previous films.
